"Choosing the Sex of Your Baby”

6 Steps to Actualize Your Dream of a Baby Boy

Choosing the sex of a baby to many especially from the part of the world I come from would sound like a fairy tale. In fact in the more traditional African society, you’ll be regarded as a crank for floating such an idea. It is believed that the sex of a baby is a preserve of the gods and man is expected to accept whatever the gods gives. So, right from the time a woman conceives, prayers are often rendered, sacrifices made for a particular sex of a baby to be born especially a male, because, an average African family is seen as incomplete without a male child. And in most cases, the outcome is always the opposite, leaving a lot of families highly unfulfilled and broken hearted.

Thanks to science, it is now possible to choose the sex of your baby. The only thing needed is the correct application of knowledge to actualize your dreams. Gone are the days we lived and operated on blind faith and the days women were seen as the problem for giving birth to mainly baby girls and vice versa.

The topic; “Choosing the sex of your baby,” was borne out of personal experience. And I want to share this knowledge with people who may be suffering in silence. I presently have two children; a boy and a girl, and to be honest, they came about because I applied to the letter the principles as spelt out in the “6 steps to actualize your dreams,” as anchored on the findings of two illustrious gentlemen ; David M. Rorvik and Landum B. Shettles, popularly referred to as the “Shettles Method.”
For those out there who have given up hope and resign to fate, those who feign happiness outwardly but are inwardly much unfulfilled, I say to them there is hope. The price is simple; apply religiously the knowledge of the ‘six steps’, and see your dreams come true.

However, it is very pertinent to understand here that a man is responsible for the sex of a baby and not the woman. The sperm contains XY chromosomes, while the egg contains XX chromosomes. If the Y chromosome sperm {which produces boys} is the first to fertilize the female egg, the outcome is a baby boy. And if in the other hand, the X chromosome is the first to fertilize the egg, the outcome is a baby girl. Determining the sex of your baby therefore depends on a set of conditions outlined below;

The Six Steps to Actualize Your Dreams

1. Sexual intercourse should be timed as close to the moment of ovulation as possible. Timing here is important. The Y chromosomes sperm is lighter and swims faster than the more dense and sluggish X chromosomes. So, timing intercourse to the moment of ovulation provides a greater opportunity of producing a male baby.
2. Sexual Intercourse should be preceded immediately after each occasion with a baking soda douche consisting of two tablespoonful of baking soda, and half liter of water. The solution should be allowed 15 minutes to completely dissolve before use.
3. Female orgasm might not be necessary but desirable as it helps to improve the secretion of necessary hormones that create the alkaline conditions in the vagina and facilitates the movement of the Y chromosomes sperm.
4. Deep penetration at the moment of male orgasm is required to ensure the deposition of the sperm close to the cervix.
5. Vagina penetration from the rear is highly recommended.
6. Total abstinence from sexual intercourse from the beginning of the monthly cycle till the day of ovulation is highly necessary especially for the man to ensure maximum sperm count, a factor favoring the Y chromosomes.

I have just espoused the steps I took, and steps some of my friends took to actualize their desire of choosing the sex of their baby. It doesn’t cost anything but diligent application of the steps outlined above. The choice is yours. Why not try it out and see for yourself. You definitely will be glad you did.

Obama's Phenomenon

The message of change with the slogan “yes we can” which rightly represents the Obama’s phenomenon, continues to spread like wild fire throughout the world. I have never in my life time, seen this type of pervading optimism. Indeed, there is so much expectation not only from the people of United States, but across the world.
The truth is that the stakes are very high and the task ahead for the new administration is going to be a tough one, nevertheless, the fact still remains that, the expectations of people, no matter the obstacle, no matter how bad the situation is on ground presently, is simple; Obama just have to deliver, he must perform. ‘Yes we can’ must be translated in concrete terms, in terms of economic prosperity, in terms of stabilizing the international arena for good politicking and good relations among nations. Failure is not an option and would be unacceptable.
History is beckoning on Obama and his team; everything is now going right for them. However, they should not for one moment forget, that the support and the trust of the people, can only be sustained with actions that touches their lives positively.
I congratulate Obama and his team, and the people of United States, ahead of Tuesday’s inauguration in Washington DC.

"Tough Times Require Tough People"

Are you passing through a rough time in your life right now? Do you sometimes have doubts in your ability and capacity to turn things around no matter how bad the situation? Are the problems of life weighing you down so much that you have lost focus in life? Have you lost your motivation to carry on? Do you sometimes think you are a failure? Then you need to read the poem below. Written by unknown author, it has touched and inspired a lot of people to rediscover themselves including myself. Read it not once, not twice, but many times as possible. You will be glad you did.

'The Don’t Quit Poem'
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if must, but don’t you quit.

Life is queer with its twist and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out,
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow –
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler had given up,
When he might have captured the victor’s cup,
And he learned too late when the night slipped down,
Close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint in the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far,
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit—
It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.

-Author Unknown

Having perused the poem, I want to believe, that you must have come to terms with the hard fact, that life itself is a battle. Nothing whatsoever comes easy in life. If you have to conquer circumstances, you must be ready to fight, to persevere, to give your all and don’t forget, nothing like quitting, no matter the situation until you prevail.

Wishing you all, a very fulfilling and prosperous 2009.

Death By Installment

Death By Installment

Two nights ago, I woke suddenly in the middle of the night with a pervading eerie feeling. I was at a loss why I had to feel this way. I remembered returning home from work that day in good spirit and, equally retired to bed feeling good. Then, why was I feeling this way? To crack the source of this feeling, I decided to relieve the events in the dream I had that night and, guess what? I became very sad when images came flooding back to memory. Images that was a direct consequence of the actions of man on our environment. I saw water submerging lands, earthquakes, unbearable heat, disease, famine, and deaths in a proportion never experienced before in the modern world. The scenario was so frightening.
You may dismiss this just as my friends did. Some called it ‘just a mere dream,’ while some said I was simply hallucinating. But the import of that dream, and rightly so, is that our earth is dying install mentally, and man, unfortunately is facilitating this demise.
Sometimes I wonder whether truly man is the most intelligent being on earth, because intelligent people will not so brutally assault the very environment that supports their existence. Presently, we glibly talk about the green house effect, depletion of the ozone layer, massive deforestation, extensive pollution of land and water, climate change etc, as if it really doesn't matter. Obviously, we have been paying less attention about these fundamental and far reaching changes that, may spell doom for the continued existence of man on earth if, we do not wake up to the realities on ground.
It is quite unfortunate that man, that have achieved so much through science, equally, has all along being laying mines for its own annihilation. I just pray, that the scenario in that dream, never come to pass. But, that depends on what we do next, to salvage the damage already done to our environment.

Niger Delta Crises

http://www.ericdon.info/The crises rocking the Niger Delta region in southern Nigeria is a classical example of what greed, insensitivity, deep seated corruption and injustice can throw up in the course of time.
Without mincing words, all successive regimes failed as far as Niger Delta is concerned. Instead of empowering and touching the lives of the people, they were more concerned in strategies to fill their own pockets which through the years facilitated the pervading and annoying poverty in the region. The most painful part is that the stolen money is not even hidden. It is flaunted with careless abandon as if to say "what can you do about it"
For decades, the Niger Delta people have been patient, praying to God to touch the mind of the leaders, but you will agree with me that where the status quo persist, you finally reach the snapping point. Therefore, the emergence of militancy in the Niger Delta of Nigeria did not come as a surprise to close watchers of Nigerian politics.
Indeed, it is very unfortunate that people don't learn from history. for if they do, they would have seen the hand writing on the wall a long time ago, they would have known that rebellion is just a matter of time for people oppressed and denied of their rights.
However, there is no doubt that some elements have cashed in on the genuine aspiration of the people committing criminal acts, which is quite very unfortunate and condemnable.
Finally the way forward is simple, the Federal, State and the Local governments should put their heads together in drawing up a marshal plan that will adequately take care of the development of the area and empowering the long deprived and suffering people of the region.

America; Land Of Possibilities

http://www.ericdon.infoThe United States is truly the land of possibilities, a land where dreams don't die but are realised, a land where liberty, freedom and democracy thrives . America, truly is God's Own Country.
I never for once believed that Barack Obama stood a chance to pass the primaries not to talk of being elected as the President of the United States of America because of his root. But sincerely, i was pleasantly surprised when the American people overwhelmingly rose above the consideration of race and elected him as their next President.
For me, the event of 4th of November is not a historic day for the coloureds, but rather i see it as a historic day for humanity. The American people have unwittingly set an agenda for the rest of the world.
The victory therefore, sign post a change from era of arrogance, of using the American might to intimidate and destabilize others, an era of hate and wars and bloodbath, to an era of peace and coexistence, of development and economic prosperity for all. There is no doubt that when it is good with America, there is a positive reverberations around the world. I salute the American people.

THE REALIITY OF LIFE

http://www.ericdon.infoHave you ever in silent moments ask yourself "Who You Are" and "Why You Are Here" While the answers that comes from individuals might differ depending on the level of spiritual consciousness, personally, i have come to the awakening reality that our existence is not an accident and therefore, we all inhabiting this planet earth have a purpose. This purpose definitely is not about wars, it not about throwing and planting of bombs here and there maiming and destroying innocent lives and properties just to make a point, it is not about taking undue advantage of the weak and the needy, for all these have brought misery and suffering in the world.

If we truly understand that all life is one, that life is sacred, that we are all bound together irrespective of race, creed or religion in interwoven maze of destiny, that everyman is an extension of his or her neighbour, then there will be enduring peace on earth, where everyman and woman will live in harmony. And then wars, bloodshed, misery and suffering that seems to suffocate the world as it is presently will drastically be reduced.
